As a part of the Master Program GPAD7314, at the invitation of Professor Francisco José Leandro, Dr. Bernardo Pinho conducted a seminar for the international relations students from the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Department of Government and Public Administration – University of Macao on the trade and investment relations between China and Portugal.

Dr. Bernardo Pinho, is the Director of AICEP Portugal Global (Macau and Hong Kong), the Portuguese National Trade & Investment Agency, and he holds the accreditation as Vice Consul for Economic and Commercial Affairs at the Consulate General of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong.

In this seminar, Dr. Bernardo Pinho focused on trade and investment relations between Portugal and China. Furthermore, he analyzed the current situation and future development perspectives of China-Portugal trade and investment. After his presentation, the students actively discussed and exchanged viewpoints with Dr. Bernardo Pinho.

After the seminar, Professor Leandro presented Dr. Bernardo Pinho a gift symbolizing the friendly relations between China and Portuguese-speaking countries. This seminar provided students with an opportunity to learn about the trade and investment between China and Portugal, and also to understand that trade can be one of the channels for maintaining positive and constructive international relations.
