Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) of the University of Macau (UM) and the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) collaborated to host a conference in Shanghai on “International Landscape Following Trump’s Presidency and The Implications for China.”
During the conference, participants engaged in comprehensive and in-depth discussions on several key topics: “Changes in Global Power Structure and Biden Administration’s Political Legacy”, “Policy Changes and The Impacts on China Following Trump’s Return”, and “The Changes of International Environment and the Implications for Cross-Strait Relations”.
As an essential part of the think tank and academic cooperation mechanism between Shanghai and Macau, this conference enabled scholars from both sides to engage in substantive discussions on critical academic and policy issues. It has laid a solid foundation for continued communication and deeper collaboration. Both UM and SIIS will continue to promote such academic exchanges to enhance mutual understanding and foster joint development.
