The latest issue of Their Entire Life, a Chinese news magazine produced by Class of 2019 graduates of the University of Macau (UM) Department of Communication, won a third prize in the Best Chinese News Reporting category at the 2019 Campus Newspaper Awards.

Launched in 2015, the magazine is produced by journalism-major students of the Department of Communication. It focuses on the stories of people with disabilities, who are easily ignored by the general public. By interviewing and experiencing the everyday lives of this minority group, the authors present ‘Their Entire Life’ to readers in Macao.

More than 1,000 entries were received and 26 awards were presented. Only entries that exhibited a high degree of professionalism were selected for the Best News Reporting Award . The first and second prizes of this award went to Hong Kong Shue Yan University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, respectively.
