1. Summer Camp Introduction and Application
The Faculty of Social Sciences will continue to organize the “FSS Summer Camp 2026” this summer, which includes professional seminars and workshops, campus and local exchange activities, as well as visits to Macao’s history and culture. Through this programme, Mainland students will be able to deepen their understanding of the University of Macau and at the same time get to know the curriculum and development of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Remark: A total of 6 department / faculty activities will be held on 28 and 29 July. Students will be arranged to attend 4 out of 6 activities (exact arrangement to be confirmed).

Subsidised items (provided by the University of Macau):
- 3-night Accommodation at the University of Macau’s N1 UM Guest House during the period of the camp
- Breakfast from 27 – 31 July
- Lunch and dinner on 27 July
- Lunch on 30 – 31 July
Self-funded items:
- 2-night Accommodation at the University of Macau’s N1 UM Guest House during the period of the camp
- All expenses and arrangements for the student’s early arrival and/or late return to and stay in Macao due to transportation issues (including flights), etc.
- All costs of all valid travel documents, visas* and other relevant expenses for entering and leaving Macao (For details, please refer to the requirements of the immigration service from the Macao Public Security Police Force)
- Transportation arrangements and related expenses for travel to and from Macao
- All expenses incurred during the free time
- Insurance in Macao*
* To ensure enrollment, selected students must upload (1) a valid Macao visa (or the visa application receipt); and (2) provide travel insurance or related proof for entry to Macao, to confirm their participation. Failure to do so will be regarded as a withdrawal from participation, and the vacant quota may be allocated for supplementary selection.

About the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS)
The Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) is one of the oldest academic units offered by the University of Macau. The Faculty aims to provide a holistic, student-centred liberal arts education which is designed to prepare students to be knowledgeable, informed, and productive global citizens equipped to contribute to a complex and dynamic planetary condition. The Faculty of Social Sciences has five departments: Communication, Economics, Government and Public Administration, Psychology, and Sociology, offering five bachelor’s degree programs, nine master’s degree programs, and seven doctoral degree programs, with English as the primary language of instruction.
