The faculty arranged multiple professional academic talks covering topics such as “Psychology in Everyday Life”, “The Secret of Our Success: Human Uniqueness from An Evolutionary Perspective”, “Smart Governance in the Age of Big Data: Opportunities and Challenges”, “What is Economics?”, “A Media production Talk: From Creativity to Production” as well as an admissions information session. The content combined inspiration with disciplinary representation, fully demonstrating the diverse academic landscape of FSS.

Furthermore, the faculty arranged several interactive games, allowing participants to experience the fun and application of social sciences through hands-on engagement. Additionally, the faculty specially opened its Creative Media Lab, showcasing professional film and television production equipment. This gave visitors a close-up look at the practical teaching environment within the communication discipline.

The Department of Communication (DCOM) released the senior-year graduation project publication, “UM Bridges Fall 2025 – Two as One: Piecing Together Macao and Hengqin”. The publication delves into the close cultural and social connections between Macao and Hengqin, reflecting the students’ keen observations and reflections on regional development. The event also featured an exhibition of film posters from past DCOM students, alongside screenings of multiple student-produced microfilms. These presentations highlighted the students’ rich creative perspectives and solid practical skills.

Many students and parents actively engaged with faculty members and students, discussing topics such as curriculum content, disciplinary advantages, and further study and career prospects. These conversations helped gather practical information for future academic planning.
