Abstract: Public support is a cornerstone of a political regime’s strength and resilience. However, regime support is hard to measure. Scholars disagree on what constitutes a regime and what constitutes support in democracies. The speaker introduces a typology-based measurement to capture the structure and strength of regime support in different countries.
