Chinese Association of Hong Kong & Macao Studies organised a seminar on 22 February to discussing the topics of the improvements of electoral system under “One Country, Two Systems”, as well as the implementation of the principle based on “Patriots governing Hong Kong”. Dean Hu stated that the seminar brings us an enlightenment of the way to “patriots governing Macao”, including in the review of the electoral system. It is the importance of completing the enforcement mechanism on safeguarding national security.
The seminar was conducted online in Beijing, Hong Kong and Macau. Mr. Xia baolong, the director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council also gave a speech.
